Ingredients

1 tsp olive oil
500g beef mince
1 ¼ cups long grain rice, washed well
1 x 35g sachet McCORMICK Rice Cookers Beef & Tomato Rice
1 cup (250ml) canned, crushed tomatoes
½ cup fresh basil, chopped
¾ cup fresh tomato, diced
12 sheets filo pastry
50g butter, melted

Prep time:  15 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Makes:  12 large

1. Preheat oven to 190' Celsius.

2. Heat oil in a frying pan and brown mince, then add to the rice cooker insert pot.  Place washed rice, McCORMICK Rice Cookers recipe base, crushed tomatoes and 400ml water into the rice cooker insert pot and stir.

3. Cover with lid and press selector control to COOK (DO NOT REMOVE LID during cooking). Cook until the selector control switches to KEEP WARM.

4. Stir through the chopped basil and diced fresh tomato.

5. Brush a filo pastry sheet with melted butter and fold in half. Place 3 tablespoons of mixture lengthways at one end, then roll up pastry, tucking in the ends. Place on a baking tray and brush with extra melted butter. Repeat with remaining pastry and filo sheets. Bake for 15 minutes, or until filo is golden brown.

6. Serve hot with a dipping sauce or sour cream.
