Matt Moran is one of Australia’s most well loved and respected chefs, and this Junior MasterChef season he joins Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Anna Gare as a regular judge.
He is the owner and head chef of the awarded ARIA Restaurants in Sydney and Brisbane, and in late 2011 will open a casual eatery on the ‘Pruniers’ site in Woollahra (Sydney).
While Matt’s main focus is his restaurants, as an Australian cuisine icon he enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge to the public through the media, be it on television, radio or in print.
Matt has been a member of the International Culinary Panel for Singapore Airlines since 2003 and has also published two cookbooks – Matt Moran, which showcases some ARIA dishes adapted for the home cook, and When I Get Home, which includes Matt’s favourite recipes that he cooks at home for his family and friends. He has a new cookbook due out later this year.
