From 5,500 original applicants; our resident MasterChef judges – Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston, along with newcomer Anna Gare, had the difficult task of choosing 50 amazing, and extremely talented Junior MasterChef hopefuls to go through to the heats which will see 50 gradually become 12.

You can be sure of some awe inspiring cooking by some phenomenal Aussie kids when Junior MasterChef Australia begins on September 12.
