Julia has been baking since she was eight years old. The first ‘dish’ she made was chocolate profiteroles.
Julia grew up in Brisbane and has been married for a year. She met her husband Justin at the pub she used to work at - he was her boss.
Julia is a talented pianist, having studied Music at the University of QLD. She also loves to travel.
“I like to investigate restaurants before all trips, I plan my trips around food.”
Julia has two brothers and two sisters and describes herself as a bright and bubbly person. “I get what I want in in the nicest way possible. I love helping people and in particular, I love feeding them.”
Julia loves cooking anything sweet. “I get excited about the hunt for “THE PERFECT” recipe. I will happily make six different chocolate cakes in a week and critique them.” She says her cooking generally always had chocolate in it.
Julia’s ambition is to have several shop fronts that have amazing handmade treats.
“I want a beautifully designed space with local handmade art, food and coffee. I would also love to do a cookbook that matches what I sell in my shop.”
