Does anyone have, or tried, the aerogarden that has been advertised on tv?

This looks like it could be an interesting thread, but hasn't been used in a while.

Does anyone want to share gardening tips?

Did it a week ago in this wicked wheelbarrow somebody stopped loving and put on the street! Planted with chillis and some flowers. Something is sprouting beautifully but no idea if it's the capsicum. Will let you know....I'm definintely having more luck with my vegies in pots this year.

Hi Lashy. I laughed about your wicked wheelbarrow. Whatever works.

We have 4 capsicum plants, 2 very healthy with fruit on them. We also have roma tomatoes which are starting to color. Looking forward to our first harvest. I bought some bok choy seeds on the weekend. Will get those in this week.

Hehe, it is wicked, it's this devine emerald green colour with rust, punched a couple of holes in bottom and voila, portable garden, very easy on the back! I want another one now!

Tell me, do the capsicums need support like the tomatoes do?
Best of luck with 'em :)

Sorry I didn't get back to you Lashy. Wife's been in hospital.

The capsicum are small plants, although my wife has supported one. It gets quite windy on our balcony. One of the plants has some good fruit on it.

The baby beets are real baby, so I'm going to puree them and make soup.

Thanks Sweetheart!

May have to pour more soil into the barrow, they sprouted but seemed stunned now! Hope you got some news on your tomatoes, there's another 3 on mine :) Scored a $2 discount box at the Greengrocer yesterday.....it's always a surprise what's in there....

Italian Parsley, Pears, Passionfruit, Continental Cucumbers, Spinach and underneath about 30 gorgeous tomatoes....someone will have to think about making sauce now! They were also handing out a free bag of nectarines to each shopper, love that place!

Best thoughts out to the missus!
