It's time for Jonathan and Devon to battle it out in the elimination challenge; one will stay and one will be returning home
In round 1 the boys must name each egg that they find under the cloche; Jonathan receives a point after correctly naming the emu egg

As Jonathan wins two points, Devon is eliminated and must say goodbye and leave the competition

Coming from an Italian background, Adele is nominated as head chef for the Red team and takes charge of making the pasta

Alvin gets 90 minutes to complete the three dishes compared to Luke's 75 minutes

Luke's banquet is served up first as Gary, George and Matt taste each dish and each score the banquet out of 10
Alvin scores a total of 22 points from the judges but it's not quite enough compared to Luke's score of 26 out of 30

Jonathan, Bel, Adele, Jimmy. Alvin, Skye and Claire scored the most votes and will now compete in a pressure test round
These 7 contestants are going to have to make a tricky beef wellington. The two who pull it off will earn themselves a MasterChef apron
Claire and Jimmy have made it into the Top 24 after they produced the best beef wellingtons
The Top 50 have one and a half hours to produce a dish of their choice using the barbeque
Marion's dish impresses the judges and she earns herself a place in the 'three best dishes of the day'
10 contestant's with the least impressive invention test dishes now have 2 hours to whip up a pavlova and save themselves from elimination
Sharnee ends up making a good pavlova and proceeds through to the next round
Sadly Irmgard, Amanda, Michelle, Nicollette and Jason have not made it through to the next round and must return home
